Kirsty’s love for watersports began unexpectedly 10 years ago during a camping trip when her eldest son, Kai, was just four years old. What started as a simple experiment—letting Kai ride a kneeboard behind his grandfather’s fishing boat—quickly sparked a lifelong passion for the water. Soon after, the family upgraded to a proper ski boat, and from that moment, there was no turning back.

A typical day on the water for the Crawley family starts with a hearty breakfast and plenty of preparation. “The dads go fill the boats with petrol while the kids eat bacon and eggs by the fire. We spend the entire day on the water until the sun goes down, and if we’re lucky, some of the boys will go barefoot skiing at sunset.”
